Lewisboro resident Lynn Lee died on Monday, Oct. 16 in the comfort of her home following a two-year battle against pancreatic cancer, according to her son, Brandon, who has since started a GoFundMe page to help raise money for her funeral expenses.

Lee was surrounded by her husband, Sunho, and her sons, Ryan, Matthew, and Brandon, at the time of her death.

"We are beyond heartbroken - our mother was our rock," Brandon wrote on the fundraiser page, continuing, "We are so proud of how hard she fought, and even more fortunate to have had her in our lives."

The news of Lynn's death prompted an almost immediate outpouring of support: as of Wednesday, Oct. 18, only a day after the fundraiser was created, over $13,000 had been raised to support the Lee family.

"There aren't enough words I can type here to describe our love for her. We love and miss her so much," Brandon wrote on the GoFundMe page.
